Liquid Latex that is cured at room temperature is always prone to adhering to itself. When this happens, it can tear your latex creation. We recommend using the Ultra Shine Spray to treat the surface after curing of the liquid latex is complete. Teflon or silicone-based products such as Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ are excellent liquid latex preservatives, and can safely be used on any Liquid Latex creation.
Liquid Latex Ultra Shine is a proprietary silicone-based formulation that can be easily pump-sprayed directly onto any dried liquid latex surface, including liquid latex that has been applied to your skin! Or, you can spray some Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ on a soft, lint-free cloth, and gently rub the liquid latex surface in a circular motion to bring out the natural shine of the material.
Our silicone-based Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ spray will provide excellent results in preserving your latex
creations, and adding a brilliant luster to the surface coating. Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ has no fumes, and it instantly produces a spectacular shiny finish on all your latex garments. Upon application, Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ instantly starts to protect your latex, and at the same time it
produces that slippery, slithery, slick, lubricious, wet
appearance that true latex lovers just absolutely crave (without making the surface greasy or slimy).
Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ is formulated with a proprietary combination of silicone & other polymer protectants that provide long-lasting protection against the harsh effects of ozone, heat, perspiration, and ultraviolet light. Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ also helps protect all your liquid latex garments and accessories from cracking & color fading, in addition to resisting airborne dust accumulation by reducing static electricity buildup. And Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ will instantly product a glossy, wet shine for that special look that will immediately catch their eyes.
Directions for use:
- Thoroughly clean the surface to be treated, using a moist lint-free cloth to wipe down the latex surface, if necessary.
- Apply Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ with a clean cloth, sponge, or other non-abrasive applicator, or pump-spray the formula directly onto the latex surface.
- Allow a few minutes for the formulation to spread & bond to the surface by gently rubbing the liquid into the latex in a circular motion.
- Remove any excess Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ for a beautiful protective shine. And if you want to reduce gloss, just buff the treated surface lightly with a damp cloth.
Many commercially available rubber preservative products (such as those you may find at your local automotive store) include petroleum-based ingredients, and they will not provide the desired results when used on your unique liquid latex creations.
Start use of any of these products with a single pump spray onto the latex surface, and wipe the fluid with your fingers in a circular motion. Take note that a small amount of preservative typically goes a long way. An 8 oz. bottle of our Liquid Latex Ultra Shine™ is often a lifetime supply for the casual latex enthusiast!
