About Metallic Pearl Sparkle

You can pre-mix Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ into your final coating of Liquid Latex Body Cosmetic™ liquid for a shimmering result that has a subtle brilliance to it, or you can rub Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ directly onto the surface of your finished liquid latex coating for a wild metallic highlight. Many of our customers recommend the use of our Clear color Liquid Latex Body Cosmetic™ as the final coating for any latex creation intending to use Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ on the final surface treatment because the Sparkle™ can be easily pre-mixed with the liquid latex prior to application - resulting in an intense metallic effect. In this way, the Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ will not rub off after repeated wearings and washings.

Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™, a powder, is harmless to normal skin, but, as with any powder, avoid breathing the dust. Using a dust mask is recommended. When using Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ first put on the dust mask. Open the jar and dip the small foam brush or sponge into the powder. Apply to the dried latex and spread into a very thin coat with your hands. Don't be afraid to rub - think of it as a sensuous massage. The thinner the coat, the more brilliant and even the shine. Too much powder makes a dull surface. Wipe away excess with a soft cloth. Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ strengthens the latex and produces a silky surface.

If you use more than one color of Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™, first carefully lay on one color and then lay on the second color. The second color will not cover over the first color. Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ may be removed from most rubber surfaces by using a silicone-based spray (available at most auto supply stores) and rubbing with a cloth. The powder washes off hands and fabrics with soap and water.

Made from mica chips, a purely natural mineral, Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ produces a spectacular metallic color that twinkles & glitters in the presence of a light source. While both Liquid Latex Body Cosmetic™ and Fluorescent Liquid Latex™ are completely harmless when applied to normal skin, take care to avoid breathing the Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ dust during the application process (just as you would when using any powdered product). Using a simple paper dust mask is recommended (and provided with each purchase of Rainbow Metallic Pearl Sparkle™ or our Liquid Latex Application Kit™).
